Before I retired, I had a Dodge work truck. Had around 8,000 miles on it when it developed a consistent miss. Dealer fooled with it twice, but no fix. Took it to my Son's shop - he plugged something into it and pronounced a bad plug wire. I took it back to the dealer with a printout of Son's diagnosis. They replaced the ONE bad wire under warranty. Every few thousand miles it would miss again and they'd replace ONE more wire. That went on until the warranty expired (12000 miles on a fleet truck). Then our maintenance shop replaced the remainder.
I've worn out several Dodge pickups, all owned by someone else, but I've never wanted to own one for myself.
I do hope the company heals and prospers. It's in our nation's best interest that it does.
