How often do you change your transmission filters? Its a 2004 LB7 engine with 5 speed 1000 series tranny, 4x4. Truck has about 130,000 miles. I want to change at least my spin on filter. If I were to pull pan and change filter inside, how much oil would I need to add to fill it back to normal level? I also noticed a difference when looking up internal filters. They show a different filter, one for a shallow pan and one for a deep pan, which do I have?
