I have an 04 same transmission and engine combination. The manuals says to change the spin on transmission filter with every engine oil change. It also says to flush the transmission every 50,000 miles if under heavy load; I interpeted that to mean more then 50% towing. Other wise to flush the transmission every 100,000 miles.
