Put my favorite CD in one morning in the dark. Wouldn't play so I just played the radio and checked it out a couple days later. Had slid it in on top of the whole thing. Works fine now that it's in the right slot.
Called my Mom on Christmas. Always the same beginning...
"Hi Mom"
"who is this?"
"your Son"
"Oh OK, well which one?
and I tell her and we talk for awhile and all is good.
This year, it continued to
"well when did you get back? I'll meet you downstairs"
pushes the button on the phone and hangs up. Went thru this twice and the third time, she says "I'm not going down there again, if you don't want to see me, just go on back home" and hung up the phone. She lives in a senior citizen apartment complex, so I called the manager to go and tell her that I was calling and not to hang up. Meantime, my brother showed up to pick her up to go to his house for Christmas. She thought that it was him playing with her. We finally got to talk and all was well.
