What is the better season for farm auctions here in the East and New England? We moved to the south east side of New York near Kingston last year, and would like to start going to auctions within a few hours drive in any direction. I'm interested in antique tractor things, and wife collects pottery and garden stuff. We're from Arkansas, and most outdoor auctions were generally in the winter because the weather would permit it.....usually. Summer was just too hot in the South to stand out in hot sun for auctions. Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
