I'd tell you a story about telephone techs but then some one would get mad. But lets just say 99% of them are only as smart as the company they work for will let them be. I.E. there test for employment if you score to high or to low they will not hire you but if you score on there test at say this or that high they will hire you. That said yep mice love wires and no matter what you can not do much about them other then hope there is a cat that wants a meal close by
