You can do it! Don't let anyone tell you that you can't, either.
About your tractor: I know someone with a Farmall 806 and says it is a great tractor. You may not need one that big, or you may need to go bigger. I have heard that the turbo 1206 is good as well, and just the other day I saw an add for a Farmall 560 for $3,000. Any way you go, you probably want either an old Farmall or old John Deere.
About your disc: Nick mentioned a 12 foot disc, and while I think that will work fine for you, I believe it is a little small for the type of tractors mentioned. A Farmall M could probably pull something that size.
About your planter: Just get whatever size you have the time to mess with. If you aren't busy, then a 2 row would work, but if you are in a hurry, get an 8 row, or something in between.
About harvesting equipment: Combines are extraordinarily expensive. While you can always get a POS for $20,000, a good one will cost you much more. So, for your operation, I think you would be better off to work a deal out with someone for now, unless you can find a whale of a deal.

The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
