Crawler Forum, Summer before last I picked up a 2N Ford and finally have it running right after a year and a half with help from the N tractor Forum. This summer picked up an R2 Cat and with the help of OM and Billy and other crawler forum members have been working on some small problems which I believe are under control. Now I have been looking at a D2 Cat. I have been researching the diesel version and it seems more complicated than the R2. It is in running condition with working Pony engine. The research has shown that the pony motor is unique but also more involved than the simpler electric start R2. Am looking for pros and cons on both versions? Any input is appreciated. Told my sons, each would get their choice, sure they will be up for sale as soon as I am gone!!
