I have a B I built some years ago. The engine has this cutout you mention. It also has a plate for hydraulic pump under the mag. I've never really
researched this engine but I do recall puzzling over that cut-out. Is this for sure a power unit motor? I cannot recall the big bore kit I put in this motor but it seems I remember the pistons being 1/4 inch larger than what was in it so that would make it a 113 going to 133. I've got to get
out my records on this build to see if I can figure out what I have and what size this motor
is.
