the old ih dealership

earlier this week as i drove past the old ih dealership, as i do every day coming home from work, i saw that it was being cleaned out. the dealership has been totally closed for about 5 or 6 years now. this dealership has been an icon for the small farms in my area for about the last 40 or 50 years. we bought our 2 farmall tractors, baler, implements from this, and it is quite sad it see if being torn down. i am going to try today to go out and see if i can scrounge any misc parts etc before the dozers come in.
does anyone else care to share any memories of local ih dealers going out of business or when they were torn down?
