Still looking for somthing to restore and use to mow. Looked at a '59 140 yesterday. The guy wanted $4500 for it (new tires, cultivator). I decided to keep looking. Called a guy who deals in old tractors today, has a few 130's and 140's coming in next week. I still think a 140 would be great for mowing, but how steep of a hill can they be driven on? Would a 6-foot mower stabilize it some? Also, what's a fair price for an overrunning PTO clutch? I was thinking about looking for a 240, but they seem to be rare. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what other IH's work good for mowing?
