A friend has a Farmall Model "A", the front end is set to it's most widest setting. We removed the tie rods and tube clamps. Tried to move the axle in or out within the tube, without any luck. We have struck it with a 20 lb sledge hammer, tried a ton of PB Blaster, used a 4 lb hammer and tapped around the tube striking it mildly, etc. So far it has refused to move at all. He wants to narrow the wheel width as he is restoring it for show use and it would make it much easier to get onto the trailer that he already owns. The tie rods also refuse to budge either. Was thinking of apply HEAT, but wanted advice first. Don't want to destory anything. Any tricks you guys know of that would make this transaction work a little better would be of great help. Thanks "Little Bubba"
