Distributor update

I opened up the distributor from my C last night, and was surprised at the relatively good cond. of springs/weights. Springs are not worn that bad, however they do seem to lack tension, (coils not touching). The pivot holes on weights do have some slop allowing them to move up/down, but not extreme. I decided to purchase new, and dealer did not have in stock. I hesitated when he told me weights are $32 each. I may order new springs, and give it another try. Really don't want to throw $75 at it not knowing for sure this is the problem. Anybody know another source for the weights? What is best to lube the weights with?
