41A Cutout question

I have a 41A with the original generator and 6 volt system. However, I use a 12 volt battery to start it. The generator puts out 20 volts at full throttle (open circuit) and 8 volts at idle (open circuit) so I can actually charge the 12 volt battery with the 6 volt gen (I get about 7 amps charge at full throttle.) My question: Where can I get a 12-volt on-the-generator-mounted cutout to replace the 6 volt one I have there now? I try not to idle too much because I show discharge at idle and must be back-feeding juice into the generator at low engine speeds. I set the points on the cutout to close at as high a voltage as I could set them, but they close slowly and will burn up if I continue. Did Delco make a look-alike 12 volt cutout (generator mounted?) I'd like to keep it all as original-looking as possible. Otherwise I'd get an alternator. I found a place with cheap 6 volt batteries, ($30) so I imagine I could get one of these and solve the porblem that way too. BTW, I find that Sylvania 1156 lamps (from my car's back up lights) fit in the old 6-volt sockets and work great! I have magneto so no problem for me on that side. Thanks for reading all that. Appreciate comments and advice. Ben away from the board for a while so I apologize if this is a repeated topic. Dave

He had over a period of months spent a fair amount of his hard earned cash on replacement parts for the old "trembler" ignition. Sadly though all his efforts seemed to be a waste of time and money as he still couldn''t get the temperamental old thing to run correctly!! If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
