End of Season Oil Change

What do you folks think is the best practice? Change oil and filter in the fall before you put a tractor away for the winter or change in the spring and remove any moisture that may have appeared over winter? I live in Minnnesota so there is plenty of cold weather! I'm leaning towards getting the used oil out and replacing with clean. Thanks for sharing your opinions!
