Gas Pistons (Super M vs 400)

I have a Farmall M that I have apart for rebuilding the engine. I have discovered that the pistons are 4" pistons instead of the 3 & 7/8" pistons that are standard in a M. I ASSUMED that the pistons were from a Super M which has a 4" piston, but in checking the piston numbers (CAM Z16) 366976-R1, I found that they are pistons from a Farmall 400. Can anyone tell me if the 400 piston and the Super M piston have the same compression? I do know that the piston pin diameter in the 400 piston is smaller. I am hoping that the 400 piston is taller and thus more compression. Thanks in advance.
