Case IH 2150 Red Paint Problems

I bought a spray bomb of 2150 Red from Case / IH to use on my Farmall A restoration.

It's terrible, it has no hiding capability so it would take many coats to get a proper finish, and it is so thin that it runs immediately.

Is this a bad batch? Any other brand of high quality paint that that is thicker?
