Repair of Corroded Rims?

I have one F-30 round spoke rubber tire rim that has had CalCl leak out and corrode the rim. There are several holes and the outer 'lips' of the rim are gone in a couple of places. Has anyone tried to patch and weld new material onto them? I would like to find another wheel but if I can't will it be possible to repair this rim?
