What's this cub worth?

I went to look at a cub yesterday after work.I'd like to get some opinions on value.It's been sitting for about a year or so.The man said it was a 57 model although i didn't get the serial numbers off it because it was buried in a shed. It has a belly mower,cultivators and a single plow with it.The sheet metal is a little rough,one tire is flat,said rim is rusted from calcium.The pto kicks out under load when mowing.And also the shifter you can pop straight up and off when not in gear.The guy is asking 1500 for it but i think the price is negotiable.I'm thinking 800 or so.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreicated. Thanks, Wayne
