Thanks for the help. Since the flat spot below the #1 plug has no markings, and I have no date codes below the mag (or anywhere else on the block), I guess it must be from a 130. The only other item I've found that differs from my 1940 C113 is that the new engine has a threaded plug in the front of the head next to the casting that accepts the upper radiator hose (generator side). Would this have been used with a water pump ? My engine does not have a water pump and still uses a mag. I assume the mag is interchangeable with a distributor since the 130 would have had a distributor I believe ....?
