Hi folks, I have a German built model with a 1.8 liter (3 cyl) diesel motor. The headgasket is seeping/leaking oil on the front corner. Couple of questions: 1st, other than the leak, there are no obvious problems with the motor. Think I can get by with just replacing the headgasket (and related gaskets)? Or am I going to have the head planed? 2nd, a sensiuos thought crossed my mind (sense you was doing this, might as well do that). If I decided to turn the head in and have it redone, can finishing the rest (bearings, seals, cylinder sleeves, etc) be taken care of without splitting the tractor? When I look for rings, I only find a complete set of piston, rings, and sleeve. Is it as simple as just sliding the old sleeve out and the new one in? Or, should I just leave well enough alone until something breaks? Thanks, Dave

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
