depends on how much it leaks, if its not enough to cause a financial burden and doesnt seep onto important parts, i would let it go. Pulling the head could open a box of worms, as its hard to say if the head will need resurfaced, then while ur at it might as well might as well... you know how it goes. I dont know enough about these engines to know if they would need split. I dont see how u would get the crank off if it needed turned without removing the flywheel.
