Super M problem ?

My buddies Super M is blowing engine oil out of that vent tube on the side of the block behind the distr. Checked compression; #1=60lbs. , #2=75lbs. , #3=70lbs. , #4=80lbs. Did a wet compression check on #1 cylinder; she shot up to 150lbs. The guy he just bought her from said he had just "completely re-built her". Could the rings not be completely seated yet or is something else going on here? Why is she blowing oil like that under a load? Thanks for the help.
