Mike, If it were me, I would not hesitate to buy that tractor at all. In running condition, and for that price it may be the one for you to really consider getting. I know that you may have your heart set on a war tractor, but this seems like a super deal plus you said that it is close to you. If you are really set on a narrow front end you may be able to swap the single for one. I know a couple of guys around here that would trade a narrow front for a single one in a heartbeat. They are very sledom seen in our area. As far as the belt pulley goes, you can put the word out here that you are in need of one, or keep a ckeck on eBay they are listed there often. We always ran the steel belt pulleys on all of our H's, M's, and SMTA. I was about 25 years old before I ever saw a fiber belt pulley for the first time, until then I never knew that there was any other type offered by IH. I have a complete narrow front in the shop that you could have, BUT I live in MD and with you being in CA the shippping cost would be more than it is worth. Good Luck
