KY One thing you might try is reversing the twist on your belt. i.e. if you installed it with a twist to the right, remove it and install it with a left twist (opposite direction.) This MAY give it the rotation direction it needs to function properly. Hope this makes sense but perhaps it is just twisted wrong.
I've had overall better luck with tractor dealer's partsmen than I have with auto supply houses
