Hi everyone, New to Forum. I recently purchased an IH 300 Utility tractor with a loader, fast hitch 3-point, and scraper blade. I would like to put a PTO unit on it and have found one off a farmall 450 gas which I may be able to pick up for cheap, but I will have to travel a ways to pick it up. Does anyone know if it will bolt up on my utility? I cant seem to get the local dealer to help me, But I,ve been told that even if its the same unit, it would have a different handle. could I possibly fab a handle up to make it work for my tractor? Im pretty handy with this sort of thing, but it would be nice to see one first. Also, a tractor boneyard near here has a PTO unit that will fit, but its missing the handle, and is much more expensive. Thanks in advance, any info greatly appreciated.
