Best thinking is not in terms of who thought up what, (and Al Gore did not think up Global Warming) The best scientific thinking is a reflection of the best data gathered with the best instruments, interpreted to be understandable information of the highest value to every person. Global Warming is just that global, and not local. In ---fact--- a prime component is abnormal variability and changes that are both colder, warmer, drier, wetter than memory serves to recall. Those patterns of change are real. Those glaciers are melting, those ice fields are moving. Those storms are more unusual.
