Here is my input I have only ideas, no experience with that unit. If there is no oil pressure because the oil pump lost prime, then you have good reason not to run it. If there is low oil in the crank case then you have, again, good reason to not run it. Check where the low oil switch is placed, if it is in an oil gallery, I would pull it out and squirt about 100 pumps of engine oil into the gallery with a pump squirt oil can, with a rubber hose adapted to the hole. If it will take no oil that way, I would put a pressure gauge in the hole to be certain there is pressure befor assuming so.
