Thanks for the input... I am now likely going to buy my uncle's 1956 300, it is mechanically very good, needs brakes on one side and the ignition switch replaced (lost key), no power steering. Does have fast hitch and good hydraulics, fairly straight sheet metal, ok tires, comes with brush hog, scraper blade, plow, various other implements, for $1500. It had been restored by IH dealer before my uncle got it 20 yrs ago or so, needs re-restored now to be pretty again. You guys think this is a good deal?

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
