Thanks guys.. Hugh....the plow was unhitched when I was trying to diagnose the problem....I read the replies after work and went out to play with it.... I added a little more fluid...still same thing.. Then I unhooked the linkage that runs from the fh cylinder to the control valve under the dash....(is this called the tele- depth rod??)...and now the hitch works fine with a combo of manually running the valve lever from cylinder and using the regular control lever...kinda play with one then the other.... Doing that I can back into the plows and raise them up fine for transport.... But I need it to work right for plowing... I plan to change fluid/filter in a few weeks...does Napa carry them or IH dealer ?? Also what is the function of the notched lever with handle on the left side of the platform going to the hitch?? Thanks again...
