it probably needs a rewiring...the wires like to smoke when starting it. probably should get a roll of wire and get to it, huh? ;) maybe there is a short in the key switch too? this engine is pretty high compression now, my dad told them to convert that when they overhauled it, you can't turn it with a crank. i love old tractors! :)
