There are two "hidden" bolts. One is inside the bell housing; you have to remove the starter. Another is on the other side under the gas tank; this one can be removed from outside. I'm not sure why you're splitting the tractor to pull the engine. You really should remove the front bolster, then the side rails, then the engine.
