Not to late to celebrate!!

MY PEOPLE, the Norwegians, this day celebrate Syttende Mai. The 17th of May as Independence Day from Sweden. I refer to myself as a Full-Blooded, Norwegian hyphenated American. You know......to match all the other "hyphenated" Americans. Being born in this country, I can also say I am a Native hyphenated American. American FIRST though! Then comes the Norwegian, as MY PEOPLE assimilated into this country, i.e. legally, learning the language, pledging allegiance to this nation and respecting its laws, not using them for their own "hyphenated" and/or illegal benefit(s).
