Ok, I posted on here a couple of days ago about my Farmall giving me problems. So as a recap this is what has happened as of now. I used the tractor about a week ago and it ran great for about two hours. At that time it was using a 12 volt battery with a 6 volt coil. The tractor started becoming very sluggish and then started back fireing. Once it died i was not able to get it started again. So i followed everyones suggestions and replaced the coil with a 12 volt coil (internal risister), new points and a new condenser. Well it started great after everything was replaced and ran for about 30 seconds, during that time it sounded great. But then it just died. So i figured it was probably a gas problem. so i cleaned the carb, bulb and fuel lines. I also checked the fuel filter and it was ok. But the tractor still will not start. I did notice however the floats in the carb were dented on the bottom, Would this cause a problem? If anyone has an idea of what i need to look at next please tell me. I"m at a loss, and so is everyone that i"ve talked to. Mostly the ones i talked to (family) say that they have no idea because of how old the tractor is. Thank you for any help you can give me. And thanks again for the response i got from my earlier post. I can tell with the tractor starting that i"m working in the right area, i just don"t know where to go from here.

It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
