Coolant getting in the base on super c ?

I am getting coolant in the oil on my super c can anyone tell me where it might be coming from and what to do about it, the previous owner said it sat a long time and he pulled the head off to free up the valves, could it be he didnt change the head gasket, the tractor runs and sounds good, any advice would be appreciated.
