you already have a 90% chance of knowing the problem. He either didn't replace the gasket, or didn't put the new one on right. Hope it isn't the other 10%, which means cracked block, or head. Only, don't run the tractor until you get it solved. The oil will be ruined and not lubricate properly, and you'll burn up the bearings. The owner may have seen the coolant and said "adios."
