I didnt do the work on our 140 so I'll have to just give you what I know. The guy that does a lot of my work said it wasnt the woodruff key on mine but a short pin, about two inches long. It goes thru the shaft and over time wears out and the steering starts to kind of go. Its an easy fix but one that really needs to be tended too.

Ordered a new oil filter for the 140 today. Girl at Case is kind of flirting with me. I better order more stuff.
