Nat All gears function including low range on TA. Power comes from the top side of one of the cluster gears on the mainshaft. Probably 4th-5th. I have an Elwood and it runs fine. I have not heard of reliability issues with the unit. It does look fragile, however. All my tires are loaded and the rear has 10 weights. The front has a pair of weights. I also have four suitcase weights hanging off the front. Yeah turning radius is not great. Probably similar to a crew-cab pickup.
