Just my opinion, and experience. The Champions I have purchased in the past have not lasted near as long as the Autolites, and have given me headaches right out of the box. I just prefer the Autolites, some prefer the Champions. AFA the inline filter, I have two right now with inlines, and have not had a problem, just have to make sure its not one for an automtive fuel pump type. My local NAPA has these and are clear for about 6 bucks each.
