Most in-line filter do cause more trouble then they are worth, because most are made to be used with fuel pumps and have or should have pressure on the in-let side to make them do as they should. Now if you have an in line filter made for a gravity feed fuel system yes they work well but the problem is most people put on on that they buy at the auto parts store and they are made for a fuel pump system and DO CAUSE PROBLEMS. I may self have brought home about 12 cases of beer because of them. People call me an say I have a fuel problem and I go look and find in line filter on and throw them away and get the case of beer for my trouble
