Super A dies.

My normally dependable 1948 Super A has begun to die while at idle or under load. Sometimes every 5 minutes, sometimes every 20 minutes. Always starts immediately after dying. No trash in the gas tank or sediment bowl, carb screen is clean. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
