How do I start and run my new (old) 1944 Farmall H

I need to have an explanation of all the controls and gauges on the control panel of my 1944 Farmall H. I know the clutch, transmission, and brake pedal arrangement. It does'nt seem to have an ignition on switch but it has a starter push button. I think I know which is the choke and throttle but I'm not sure. Also how do I engage the PTO. No one explained the tractor to me when I bought the property. It looks like it will start right up as soon as I charge the battery and connect the cables. Please Help.
