Bob, Thanks You have been a great deal of help so far! The camshaft gear marks were there all along but were so unprofessionally done I thought they were casting flaws! Your explaination of there being two set of marks 180 out made the difference, thanks. But.. the only mark I find on the crankshaft is one that lines with the keyway and they both are at 12 o'clock when the # 1 cylinder is at TDC. So, this mark can't line up with the cam shaft mark. There must be a number of teeth counter clock wise from TDC to line up with the cam marks. Sorry this is so involved but I can't explain it completely in fewer words. Thanks Dick
