Super C runs like crap when warm

My Super C runs fine when I first start it, after it warms up is sound like it's running on three cylinders. I've checked and everything is firing, and I put new points and plugs in last year. If I leave the gas on when it sits the carborator leaks gas. But when I try starting it I don't dare use the choke. It also doesn't charge, would this be the generator? I need to do some major work don't I...
