V-8 in Farmall M. How?

At the Hastings Red Power Roundup I saw something that really turned me on. A fella had a Super M with what I think was a 345 cu. in. International V-8. In the past, I've never been much for hot rod antique tractors but this one changed all that.
How is this done. If anyone has experience with retrofiting a V-8 in a M please let me know. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
