First of all...many thanks to everyone's advice concerning my thermostat. Your advice should prove very helpful this weekend when I tear into the thermostat. While I'm replacing the thermostat, I thought I'd go ahead and replace both belts up front as well as the flexible tubing from the thermostat. What is involved in replacing the alternator and fan belts. I haven't looked at my tractor since deciding this morning to undertake the job. I imagine I'll have to remove the fan to get the fan belt on (which I've never tried). How about the alternator belt? Do I just loosen or remove the alternator to slip a belt on? Any helpful tips would be appreciated... Thanks- Krey Milltown, Indiana
