I have a International 544 that was in the family. It is presently not working and I am trying to get it to run. Many people have been messing with this tractor so I am checking over everthing. From what I could see in my Blue Ribbon service manual the firing order is 1, 3, 4, 2 with the #1 spark plug wire way from the motor. My wiring is 180 degress off from this. I know on chevy car engins there is a mark on the harmonic balencer to check were top dead center is and then adjust the distributor accordingly. Is such a thing true with this engin? Also the service manual referenced a timing mark to check on the fan pulley? Where is this mark? I looked and could not find it. Your help is greatly apprechated.
