Help Bob M. rewired 130 today

Followed your 2 wire diagram to the letter. The light and resistor are doing their job. Tractor fired right up and shut right down when switched off. Got the resistor you called for, light was a .15 amp. Couldn't get .2 amp. Two items I didn't replace were ampmeter guage, and I havn't done anything with alternator. Had a hand held volt meter. When tractor is running 12 volts. After I shut down I hooked volt meter to alternator, and got a reading between 1-2 volts. Please advise, I must have a faulty ampmeter guage. I also believe the internal regulator is not working, in that it is charging all the time. Your advise would be apreciated. Thankyou. Hugh
