976????

I have seen a picture of a tractor on a dealer web site that said 976,so i clicked on it and sure enough it was a 66 series blackstripe it did say 976 on the hood, I thought somebody goofed but it had the german engine instead of the 414 block,also the side shields that the older 66's have there numbers were alot longer,other than that it was identical to a 966. If anybody has any idea what i found let me know i'm sure somebody else out there is curious to, any info would be appreciated.
