I am not a parts man, nor have I ever posessed a parts book. I am just an old retired farmer, who discovered 25 years ago that some items that my neighbour and I thought were alike on Farmalls 966 and 1066, were actually not alike on our 1975 models. (1) clutch is different; (2) rear housing is wider on 1066, serviceman from IH told me it is because bull gears are larger; (3) My axel duals would not fit his 966; Torque tube on 1066 is wider. That is what we discovered trying to interchange some equipment.
